What you're feeling is probably braxton hicks and the baby starting to drop into position.

You won't be fully dialated until towards the end of your labor. You could stay at 1cm for weeks before anything happens, and being that you are only 35 weeks you could still have up to 6 or 7 weeks to go.

Just to add, you won't feel actually feel anything opening.

I went through this with my son. Just means the baby has dropped and is preparing for labour this could take weeks. Could be 1-2 or more. It's not uncommon. Just keep track of your contractions time them. When there becoming close together and more intense or you lose a lot of fluid or have any bleeding go to the hospital. I know for a good couple of weeks I was having these pains. Most important thing try to rest when you can. Not just at night. If you have time to have a nap on the couch or anything take it. Get as much rest as you can. I know it's not easy but you'll need it. Find a place that's comfortable doesn't have to be bed. Good luck not long to go now.

Probably your baby's head has dropped. Urinating more frequently is normal, there is pressure on your bladder. The pains are braxton hicks. You aren't in labour. You need to rest when you can, your body will be fine. You'll be surprised at what your body can do when the time comes. But your baby isn't ready yet, 35 weeks is premature. Hang in there, you'll get through it. I know it is really uncomfortable in those last few weeks. It will make it all the more rewarding when the time comes :)
