My daughter is just iver 1 now and I still give her 8oz of formula in the morning and the same before she goes to bed, when do I stop giving her her bottles of formula? And do I need to start introducing cows milk?

Yep at age 1 yrs old she can go to whole milk. At age one she should also start to be taking her milk from either a cup or a sippy cup. The amount of milk she needs in a day goes down significantly at age 1. She now is getting more of her nutrition from her food. So you want to make sure she is not getting too much milk. A 1 yr old should be drinking about 12-16 ounces of milk a day. So pretty much a glass of milk at each meal. People transition many different ways. Some go straight to cows milk others will do half formula and half cows milk and then increase the cows milk so eventually they are all on cows milk. With two of my kids I just moved right to cows milk with my middle child I did the half and half as she did not like the taste right away. For the transition from bottle to sippy I would first start with only sippies during the day. Doing a bottle or nursing at night. Then as they got better with the sippies during the day I took out the night time bottle or feed.
