I knew right away that he was a lefty. People would tell me Awe its too soon to tell. But I knew. I also know he has terrible writing. I am not sure what is going to help other than practice. But what are some difficult things out there for left handed people.
Cars are geared for right handed people.
Cameras
notebooks
college desks
knitting
computer mouse
Can you think of anything else. Thanks

My youngest seems to be a lefty - it is the hand she uses when she tries to do anything, but she is equally good with both hands, so we're just encouraging her to use both.
Other things that are geared for right-handed people are scissors and computer keyboards.
They do have scissors and keyboards, etc that are designed for lefties, but I think a lot of born lefties just compensate.

Hmmm....I actually wouldn't say cars are geared for right handed people at all. After all - here in Australia the gears are on the other side, and as a right handed person, I can drive it perfectly fine.

Anyway, my step-daughter is left handed. No-one else in the family is. But there are a lot of things she does right handed, like using her cutlery.

My daughter is a lefty. I knew from the time she first started reaching for toys as an infant too.
