How many of u had diamorphine in labour?? Did it slow your labour down?

they said the only reason they were sending me home was because my water hadn't broken (they had to break it when i began to push). if that had broke they would have sectioned me, which i'm glad didn't happen.

Several people i have spoken 2 have ended up with c-sections,including myself and all those had it. I thought it was great but not sure i want it this time.

i had it...and it pretty much stopped my labour. i was 4 cm when i went into the hospital after having contractions for 12 hours at home. they gave it to me right away, the contractions slowed to the point where i was hardly noticing them anymore and dilation stopped. they sent me home three hours later and i stayed home for another 4 days! the second time i went in they offered it again and i refused.
