How many times a day should I be giving my daughter a bottle? She will be one in less than a week and I'm just wondering what the norm is on this topic?? Thanks!

My daughter was using a sippy cup before age one, if your weening, just give it to her for snacks instead of meals and snacks. It may take about 1-2 weeks, but take 1 bottle away every other day and replace with a sippy.

Well she is probably eating three squares like the rest of the family so should be getting a sippy cup at meals and I would transition now from a bottle to a sippy. You can ask her if she is thirsty between meals, esp. if it's hot out or she is playing hard, and she will take it or leave it. In less than 6 mos she can ask for it herself. Do not continue with any bedtime feedings with teeth unless it is water or you brush them after. Def. not falling asleep with a bottle of milk at night. The calories is not an issue it is just staying hydrated like you or I would do and most of that gets done at meal time.
