This may seem a strange question to ask, However i'm curious to know if there maybe something wrong with my son. How many times in a day does your son/daughter poo? Some days i can change my son's pooey nappy a good 6 times, today however its been more like 8!!!!! And its only 2pm...

Depends on how old they are. When they are infants I changed them a lot. when they were 18mo's-2yrs 3-4 in an entire day.

every baby is different. Emmas right need to know an age, newborn babys who are breast fed tend to have a dirty nappy every feed, formula fed can go longer, and as they get older they tend to go less frequently.

If it is diarrhea then this is totally normal however if he is pooing 6-8 times daily already and it is only 2pm then i would definitely mention it to your pediatrician. All babies are different, some go every day and some once a week, however i thin most would agree that 6-8 times in a half a day if your child isn't sick does seem like a bit much. It never hurts to ask the doctor i am sure your LO is fine:)

two words IT happens! haha I've had three kids I can't count the number of icky diapers I've changed. if you think he's got diarrhea keep up the fluids and slather that bum in Vaseline or lanolin or a&d or coconut oil! even if he dosen't have a rash better safe then sorry. how old is your little one? If he's old enough for cheese feed him cheese if he's still nursing YOU eat cheese and yougert and bananas! good luck!
