My son 9m is saying and doing so much now but I am worried he is behind,

His words;
-Mum
-Dad
-Nana
-Car
-Bye
-No
-Hello
-Bayden (he tries his name Brayden)
-Mmmkah (Mikah my cat)
-Da (Ta)

^- he knows what is what also.

His actions
-Crawling (6m)
-Standing
-Walking along furniture
-Waves bye

Is this normal for his age group??
I'm a little worried he is my first and only son,..

Okay, most 9 month olds are not saying words like in your list...most are just making sounds together. They only way I would say he is saying them is if they are consistently said daily. He could know bye, Mama, Dada, No...maybe. Most 9 month olds do not talk a lot. As for understanding actions and words some can and some do not as yet. Most under the age of one are not talking or trying to say their names...in fact most respond to their name as its a set of sounds they have become familiar with. Just because it sounds like he is saying it does not mean that it is the word he is saying. I would not worry yet. He is too young to be having too much vocabulary and language skills.
