how much does/did your 5 week old baby eat?

My baby is exclusively breastfed, and I'm a FTM... feeding during the day is so hard for me to predict, he wants to eat almost constantly and its really difficult to tell when he's finished. More than half of the time, I'll think he's finished and burp him and set him down to get some things done, then about 5 minutes later he acts like he's starving! He's gained weight beautifully and is very healthy, I just need to know if I'm doing something wrong!

No, you are doing everything right. Every time they go through a growth spurt, they will cluster feed to help your milk supply grow. Milk production is based on supply and demand. Your baby is helping you build your supply for his future needs.
