I'm trying to wean my little monkey from the boob and because I can't drink cow's milk I thought I'd start her on soy milk.. but I don't know how much to give her.. advice? Do I still give her the boob at night and in the morning? She eats 3 meals a day and 2 snacks, and right now I bfeed her 3-4 times during the day and 3 times after her bedtime.. she won't sleep more than 3 hrs at a time at night.. sigh!

Yuri, if you decide to feed your baby soy milk, there are some things to keep in mind:
1. Babies need the fat in milk for their development, so you MUST give her whole soy milk, not low fat versions.
2. Soy milk does NOT contain calcium, and can also REDUCE calcium absorption, so at this age, when calcium for continual development of strong bones is so important, you need to make sure she is getting sufficient calcium from other sources.
3. Soy milk is also lacking other essential vitamins.

You need to do your research if you decide to go this route, just to ensure your baby receives the essential vitamins and minerals she needs.

Thank you but you didn't answer my question.. I asked how MUCH to give her, not the pros and cons :) I've drank soy milk all my life and I'm perfectly healthy.
