I am just curious how much weight people have gained in their pregnancies or have gained so far in their pregnancies. I gained 95lbs my first pregnancy I was very underweight when I found out. So far have gained 13lbs at 20 weeks. I lost 5lbs while I had morning sickness so some was gained back. With some of the info from my prenantal group I got a website to go to where it show your recommened weight and it said 29lbs to 40lbs, because of my pregnancy weight made me wounder about peoples pregnancy weight gain.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with twins, and I've gained about 42lbs

I think I gained about that by full term with my son, lost about a stone straight away, some more came off naturally then I had to diet to lose the rest. Which I've now put back on lol

Good for you for getting to a good weight!

I gained 25 or 35 (depends on whether you count the 10 lbs I lost then regained) with my first. I was about 10 lbs overweight to begin with.

I just got down to my pre-pregnancy weight (again, about 10 lbs too many) and now I'm 13 weeks pregnant. I only lost 5 lbs this time (hurray, less puking!) but I'm feeling a bit better so I guess the weight gain is coming.

I had gained so much, because I found out about my daughter I was in recovery from an eating problem for 2 months before I knew about her and still had barely gained a healthy amount. I think I got so scared when I found out about her. I started eating 3 meals and snacks a day and just packed on the pounds. My doctor said I was so underweight I don't even want to say how much I weighed when I found out I was pregnant. It wasn't very good. My friend's was sorta in the same boat and she gained a ton of weight. My daughter is perfect nothing wrong what so ever despite my illness. This time things are a lot healthier doctor keeps telling me I am gaining more weight mostly in the tummy and breast, because I am little not like before.

27lbs with my first (most of it was fluid from my hypertension, going into the last 3 weeks was at 17lbs).

2 lbs with my second (I struggled to gain weight, but since I'm overweight the doc wasn't too concerned, she was small at 5lbs 15oz but this was actually related to a medical condition she had not my weight gain).

With my first pregnancy I gained 25lbs, with my second 35lbs, and so far with my third I have gained 20lbs and I am 31 weeks. I was between 105 and 110lbs before getting pregnant each time.

With my first pregnancy i gained about 40 pounds but was 11 days late with him. With my second i gained about 30 pounds but i held onto about 8 from my previous pregnancy. Right now i am 25 weeks pregnant with my third and since 9 weeks have gained about 5-6 pounds. I am hoping to gain only 25-30 pounds. This may not happen has i have very large children. Both my boys were born at 9 pounds 13 ounces (they are long too...my husband is 6ft 5in). I gain a little above average but then again my children are way above average in weight.
