Some people have Irish twins - babies born 9 months apart... I guess it sorta depends on your body, etc.

One of my friends went in for her 4 week checkup after her first born to find out she was pregnant...so pretty quickly!!!

I got pregnant with both of mine very quick. With my daughter, it was wedding night. When she was 8 months old, my husband at the time went to Iraq for a year. The day he got back, I got pregnant with my son.

I got pregnant approx. 4-5 weeks after the birth of my first child! If you are pregnant congrats....if not, and you are just thinking about it. I would suggest at least 1-2 years difference in age between the siblings. Talk to your doc first if you are not sure and good luck.

I know someone with children that are less then 10 months apart, it is very easy after just having a baby.

Not sure whether you're asking how soon you can start trying or how long it's likely to take. My friend was already pregnant 6 weeks after her first child was born!! I took a year to fall pregnant with my first child so didn't want to leave it too long before trying again. On the day she turned 1 we decided to start trying agin - I fell pregnant immediately with twins who were born 9 weeks prem!! 3 children in 19 months!

The second time i was on BC and my cycle was not regualr at all so i stopped for one cycle...well 2 weeks really wheny uo count for ovulation but anyways, one cycle and i was pregnant. It was a surprise but the ebst one i could have had! We now have a 2yr old son and 5 month old daughter.

It depends on how fertile you are but use caution until you are sure you are ready to have another one.

You can get pregnant anytime after the birth of your first ... although breastfeeding often times stops your period and you need to ovulate in order to get pregnant.

Wow that is a loaded question. My 2 cousins both Re-concieved within 4 weeks of the birth of the first ones. And both of them were nursing mothers. Both gave birth to low weight, but otherwise healthy babies. You can become pregnant again at any time and should know that you are more fertile, shortly after giving birth than at any other time.

I fell pregnant with number 2 when my son was 9 months old, it was the 2nd month after my period resumed. 2 small ones are a handful, but everyone says it gets easier as they get older and play together more. Relax and enjoy.

You can get pregnant as soon as you heal up enough from delivery. I know women who have children that are 12 months apart. All you need to get pregnant is your body to ovulate and sperm :) Good luck!

They recommend waiting a few months, which you have, so whenever you want to try again!

Very soon after delivery - women are at their most fertile after delivery/miscarriage etc as all of the hormone levels are elevated. My youngest two are 13 months apart...

Everyone is different, but if you try I'm sure you will succeed. Check with your Doctor on safe amount of time to lapse before trying. Best Of Luck!

You can get pregnant within weeks of giving birth. My sister got pregnant when her 1st was only 13 weeks old.

Your chances are generally the same as the first time.. unless you have known fertility issues.

i've known women that have gotten pregnant 3 months after giving birth and their pregnancies and babies were perfectly healthy. Alot of times this is an "oops!" as many women do not realize that you can get pregnant shortly after giving birth.

You can get pregnant within weeks of delivering. Even if you haven't had your period yet, because you ovulate before your perioid. I got pregnant when my daughter was 15 months on the first try!!!

I got pregnant with our second when my son was 13 months old, after about 6 months of trying. My period was all whacky due to breastfeeding though, and I got it in Oct and then Nov and got pregnant at the end of Nov.

My boys are 12 years apart (that was on purpose, my husband & I just waited a long time between), anyway I had my IUD taken out with my second one & didn't even have another period after that 'cause I got pregnant right away. Like Sharon said some women can get pregnant within weeks of delivery but sometimes it takes a very long time.
