How should a young mom dress?

Being 23 with a 3 year old I find it hard to know what to wear?
I'm 59 and weigh 125 pounds since I was in grade 10.
I'm trying to find a balance of fashionable and mom appropriate! Lately I feel like I need
Whole wardrobe which is costly , does anyone else feel like this , or can anyone offer advice ?

I agree with the others. There are no "mom" clothes. I try to dress myself comfortable but that it doesn't look like I am wearing PJ's. I don't have a single pair of jeans atm because they don't fit me and I won't wear anything that doesn't fit. My color of preferences is black. I like wearing a nice long top with black leggings. Use a small amount of makeup and voila I am ready for the day :)

A young mom should dress as any other: In what makes YOU comfortable and feel good about yourself. One shouldn't blindly follow trends or jump on fashion bandwagons just because they're there. Once you are confident in YOU, you'll be comfortable in anything.
I'm not a fashion statement, and quite often my choice of style is considered 'out of date', but I wear it well, look great in it, and feel great about myself and my choices. I don't dress to please anyone, but in what I am comfortable wearing. For me, that means a reasonable amount of personal modesty ( I don't show T&A, excessive cleavage, etc), that meets the propriety of whatever event I'm at (if at an event).
Generally, my choice in clothing hasn't changed in 20 years, but everyone still thinks I look great in whatever I wear. Just be confident in yourself! You've done an amazing thing: you produced another human! Embrace that, and the changes in your body, and be comfortable with yourself. :-)

I never understand this question. How should you dress? However you feel most comfortable and however you like. There is no such thing as "mom clothes".

I agree that just being a mother means you need to change how you dress. If your pre-pregnancy clothes fit, and you like they way you look, that is all that matters.

I'm 22 and have two kids under 2. Honestly I wear whatever makes me comfy and feel like myself. As a mom I don't wear those shorts that show my butt or shirts that are really inappropriate. Date night I wear something that makes me feel beautiful sexy and elegant at the same time. There's nothing to say you cant wear bright colors and funky things dress how you want and how you want your children to see you. I never wear matching socks and i don't think I own a pair of white ones or ones that aren't neon colored.
