My baby girl is 20 months young. She is a sweet, loving, affectionate baby girl and is my dream come true!! I would say, within the past few weeks, her behavior has shifted dramatically. She now seems to whine and cry constantly, and has meltdowns. I can't even go out to the store with her anymore. She doesn't like to be confined (which I understand, she wants to run around and expore) but she has a major scream fest, when I try to put her in the carriage. Sighs...it's so trying at times.
I don't know how to handle it. I have tried to enstill "breaks" and I get down to her level and let her know why I am putting her in break. When she has a meltdown at the store, I just leave, and go home with her. It is just to stressful for me.
Recently, we were at a family party and she wanted me to hold her the whole time, which I understand she could have been overwhelmed with all the people there etc...she cried the whole time we were there (well, most of the time)
Oh gosh...it's a new phase and I am guessing it's because she is coming into her 2's soon?? It's just hard at times. I just pray I am doing everything right. Any feedback from moms, please! Thank you in advance!
