My husband gets into these moods were he doesn't want to be around anyone including me. I feel so alone. We have 6 children aged 10, 6, 4 2 and 1 year old twins. I am the only working right now while he is on an unpaid leave from work due to going into a hospital after feeling like he wanted to hurt himself. I am fighting to pay the bills, take care of the house and the kids all the while working. I don't have anyone to help. Our family does not live close by. We do not have a babysitter, even if i could i couldn't afford one right now or even when he was working. We were struggling then to make everything work out for us. I don't know what to do. I feel like im losing my mind and all i want to do is cry because i feel alone. i just want even if just a coulpe times a day to feel like I still matter. If anone can lead in the right

Kyleigh,
Thanks for your response. Its nice to know that i have support no matter how far away it is. My husband has had depression for as long as i can remember but for the past 2 weeks has been on meds for it after coming to grips with it.

I just wanted to give an update to this situation. My husband is off of the meds and has been off of them for over a year now. We moved to Florida to be closer to family back in Feb. of last year. My family has grown and got so much closer then before. We have support and my husband is great. Thank You for the support I received from here.

@Rebecca - Since you are in need it wouldn't hurt to ask. Does his church even know he is hospitalized?

If you belong to a church you might ask them to pray for you - that is a nice way of letting them know you need help, such as periodic babysitting or men of the church coming over to do maintenance on the house.
