I posted this a couple weeks ago "

Ok. I'm supposed to be 16 weeks pregnant today according to my midwife based on LMP of 7/30/12. She used the doppler today and couldn't get a heartbeat and said based on where my uterus is I could be much less pregnant than we think. I had implantation bleeding 9/10 so she thinks I may be more like 11 weeks. How is this possible?! I've never heard of that big a variation and I'm not Ok with waiting another 4 weeks for a check... We were going to have an ultrasound soon to check gender but it sounds like that's on hold for a long while... any advice?"

Here's my problem. I've called EVERYWHERE to get an u/s and ALL say I need a doctor's order. Period. Hopsitals, clinics, OBs, etc. My midwife does not have a doctor or place to refer me to. I feel like I'm carrying a dead baby and don't know it. Starting to freak out. I am showing a bit but not much (I didn't with my son either) but I can't take not knowing. I guess I could go to an OB pretending like she is going to treat me and ask for an u/s but that could take a few appointments and my insurance pays for nothing. Does anyone have an easier way?? HELP!!

I've only gained 5 lbs and I'm supposed to be 17 weeks tomorrow. I've got myself all worked up.
