how to get formula staines out of cloths

I use plain ol' baking soda in the wash with my regular detergent. We buy it in 5 gallon buckets at the wholesale club or at a pool supply place. I throw a cup in with every load. You can also soak the stain & make a paste(just add water) & let it sit for a few hours. I have also used baby oxy clean from time to time. The best thing you can do is not let the stain sit long enough to set. Wash as soon as possible. Also if the stain is still there after first wash don't dry it. Treat the stain & wash again. Heat sets them & it will never come out.

Totally Toddler! Its a detergent spray that works wonders! They also sell it in wipe form for the diaper bag. The bottle says that it gets rid of formula stains and IT DOES! (gets rid of all of the milk stains and all of my husbands stains too!
I have discovered that Oxyclean works wonderfully for most stains, but it seems to work best when the clothes are soaked for a day or two. I have been using a bucket with a scoop of Oxyclean for each gallon of hot water. It even got mildew out of a shirt and dirt and grease out of my husbands work clothes. Works better than bleach on my whites.

Hi Cassie - I have found that a product called Stain Away from Melaleuca, is the best I have come across for anything. It's a product that is environmentally safe and so nicer for everyone. If you have questions, let me know. Good luck. Shelley
