How to get my 2 year old son to eat more?

Hi, i am a mother of 2 boys, my youngest is 8months and oldest is 2 years old.
I am having trouble to encourage my 2 year old son to eat more than he does... He eats very little food and is only 1kg heavier than my 8month old son. His spine is very visible n also his ribs. I have tried everything i could possibly think of to get him to eat more, he refuses to eat meat, fruits (except bananas) and most vegetables.
I have tried getting help from the doctors and they werent very helpful as i thought, they have told me to just leave him be, if he wants to eat it then he will.

Please help me. I want my son to eat good balanced meals.

My child like to eat the same things I ate, so if I put it on my plate and not hers, she'd ask to have some too.

I had her help me cook, she liked that and wanted to eat whatever we made

We made fun food ... pancakes with smile faces and things like that. There are many books on ideas around this

We also had a color chart, red, yellow, blue, green, purple ... my daughter LOVES stickers, so I bought stickers dots in all colors.

When she ate a red food, she put up a red sticker ... the goal was each color every day

And, some kids just don't eat much. So, don't put too much pressure on. You never want food to be an issue

I agree with the doctors. If he is hungry he will eat. Does he ever eat a lot?
