He just turned 3 and he has his moments but then again he can be so mean to me and disrespectful. hes potty trained hes home all the time so its not other kids. he just doesnt respect me or obey me and thinks every thing is a game....i am about to lose my mind...but he does have his moments like i said....

He thinks everything is a game because he's 3. Obedience is hard at that age, because 3 year olds haven't developed good reasoning skills or impulse control yet. Lots of patience and repetition are the most effective tools. I used time outs with my 3 year old (3 minutes) after the time out, I reminded her what she had done to get there (i.e. throwing things, kicking...whatever) and then gave her a hug and told her I still love her. It also helps to give them alternatives. "When you are angry, you are NOT allowed to yell at Mommy, but you ARE allowed to stomp your feet. Stomp, stomp, stomp like this!"

Believe me, my daughter is totally high energy and smart as a whip, so I can feel your pain!
