How to Get Veggies & SuperFoods into Your Kids!

I am a vegetarian and was greatly distressed when my kids (6 and 3 1/2) avoided veggies at all costs. I hit upon a great solution. I put a beet, 2 carrots and as much kale or spinach (or a mix) as will fit along with a quart of water into a VitaMix (other blenders/food processors may work) and turn it into liquid. It's kind of thick and has to be shaken before each use.

I mix this with Bolthouse Green Goodness and C-Boost, about 1/3 each, then top it off with about 1/2 tablespoon of Amazing Greens powder. Naked Green Machine and equivalent orange colored Juice will also work. Shake well.

The kids drink it like a smoothie and love it! We call it Healthy Juice. I give them each 8oz a day and they are getting all colors (red, green and orange/yellow) plus superfoods of all types. The veggie juice will last about a week making 2 glasses per day.

I feel much better about their diet and according to their doctor they are much healthier on average than their peers. Try it!
