It can sometimes be difficult to get whole powdered milk. Depending on where you are a lot of it is skim.

It also doesn't mix nearly as easily as formula powder, which is designed to be mixed and used right away. I've only known a couple of people to use powdered milk, and they all let it sit overnight before using it. I'm not sure if that was required, or just to improve the texture / taste.

Can you try powdered milk instead of formula? Cheaper, but I am not positive of the nutritional value compared to whole milk.

If the milk is spoiling and your wasting a lot it might be a better option to go back to powdered formula you can mix as you need it.

That said, 14 months is quite old to be waking every two hours. If your baby is eating every time that's a lot of food at night too. That's not good for a healthy baby.

Is your baby healthy?

UHT milk is supposed to be as nutritious as regular milk. You could buy it in small containers and keep it cold with ice once it's opened.

There is no medical reason milk needs to be heated. Some babies and toddlers will take it at any temperature.

If milk is a problem you can give other things.

Is it possible for you to buy single servings of milk as needed? Or to mix formula powder one serving at a time? It's okay to give formula past a year.

If you're still nursing I would skip the milk.
