I'm 25 weeks pregnant right now and when I was about 10 - 12 weeks along the doctors told me that I might have one. I did some research and usually with a weak or incompetent cervix they will put you as high risk right off the bat. At around 16 - 18 weeks they will put a stitch in your cervix in order to keep it from breaking too soon. After you make it to about 38 weeks, they will go in and take it back out. With bed rest, they will usually say nothing that will stress your body. No heavy lifting, mostly sitting and resting. It's frustrating but it would be best. If you are planning on getting pregnant again, you need to go ahead and talk to your ob/gyn and let them know what you are wanting and about your complications with your first pregnancy. They will automatically let you know what to do and which way yall need to go about the whole thing.
