Hey mommies. I'm writing because I am currently 28 weeks pregnant (baby number 2) and for the past 3-4 weeks, all people can seem to say to me is "you're huge!" "Oh wow! Anyday now right?" "You must have twins in there! What? No? U sure ones not hiding behind the other?!"...these DAILY comments are wearing on my nerves. I've only gained 7 lbs the entire pregnancy (I got pregnant quickly after my first son and still had some baby weight from him- boy 2 is growing fine and I'm otherwise healthy).
These comments come from daycare workers, coworkers, and random strangers. I got pretty large with my first son as well and they did do an ultrasound looking for twins. Came to find out with both boys, I just have A LOT of extra fluid. High end of normal.
Any tips on how to handle these comments?? I'm close to just lecturing people on the common courtesy of how to treat someone while they're expecting!
