My child is 10 kg (age 2.6 years) . She is the case of severe IUGR and her birth weight was 1.5 kg.

As we are vegetarian please guide me how i can work on her food. She is a active child.

If she is active she has enough energy from food I'm guessing. One of my friend's kids is apparently underweight but she runs around all day and eats all day so she isn't very worried about it. White potatoes, pumpkin, corn, bananas, avocado... are pretty fattening in a nutritious way.

Intra Uterine Growth Retardation? That was my best guess anyway....

Priyanka, has your doctor expressed concern about her weight? The reason I ask is that my daughter is quite underweight for her age and always has been, and it is simply the way she is. At age 6, she is a mere 17kg, putting her right at the bottom of her growth curve (she was 2.2kg when she was born full term), but because she eats well and has ALWAYS been at the bottom of the growth curve, I have absolutely no concerns and neither do her doctors.
