How to KNO if I'm pregnant

If are saying that you think you did have a period but it was not a typical period for you, that is very common after giving birth. As your body recovers and all of the hormones associated with pregnancy are clearing your body, it make be months before you have a typical period. Also, if you breastfeed you may not get a period or your period may be lighter or just different. If you think you may be pregnant, there is one easy way to find out. Do a home test. However, if it is negative, don't assume you aren't pregnant. Yes, home tests are very sensitive and highly accurate but if you very early in a pregnancy, you may get a false negative reading.

You should take a test pronto. If you use your first morning urine, it will be the most concentrated and more likely to give an accurate result if you are very early in a pregnancy. Even if you have not had a period, you could have conceived and it's best to find out ASAP.

The only time you can't get pregnant from unprotected sex is if you are already pregnant.... so if you are having unprotected sex and your baby is 3 months old you have an excellent chance to be pregnant again. I would guess a month after you had unprotected sex might be a good time to test.
