I work from seven am to five pm in the office with a short lunch break which is dictated by the flow of customers then proceed to oversee my business till 8 pm then proceed home being as exhausted as one can ever imagine. Could be exercising with my little one in the evening is what can work best for me.

Unless you are working in a physically demanding job, you have to exercise. I know it sometimes seems impossible for moms to make time for it, but it's really, really important for us to stay healthy.

What hours do you work? could you go to the gym before work or during your lunch hour?

You could also exercise with your baby in the evenings--there are lots of exercises online that incorporate playing with your little one....that said, they are not very strenuous and are really more suited for keeping muscle toned, but they can still be beneficial--muscle burns more calories at rest than fat does, so the more muscle you have, the more you can eat without gaining weight. Invest in a jogging stroller and run with your baby in the mornings and evenings--even one or two miles will make a big difference if you really push yourself the while time.

I started going to the gym when she turned five but soon my schedule became tight when I got back to work as I cant wait to go back home in the evening. I think I am too busy for myself to even have a meal during the day

What does your current exercise routine look like? Sometimes after three or four months our body gets used to the demands we are giving ourselves and starts reserving extra energy for the exercise, thus we stop losing weight. Usually, all it takes are some minor tweaks to your usual routine, but sometimes you have to up the level of demand.

Let us know what you are doing now and we can offer more specific advice.
