How to Potty Train?

How do I get my 41/2 yr. daughter and 6yr. son to poop and pee in the toilet? They have accidents almost everyday. I have cleaned out their room's of toy's,tv, videogames. Nothing seem's to work or they just being lazy? HELP!!

wow, they really should be at the age where they independently go to the toilet. When did you start toilet training? We started with my daughter when she was 2 years and 6 months and it took us a good 3 months to fully train her (pee was done in a was the poop that took aaaages). We used a rewards chart with stickers as well as giving her a lolly pop every time she pooped in the toilet (only until the bag of lolly pops finished. She now is happy to go without a lolly pop). Is there something that they really like and don't get often? Maybe you can use that as an insentive til they become independent. Taking things away from them sometimes can be worse. Reward them everytime they do a pee or poop. At their age, it shouldn't take them too long because their bowels are fully develped so they should be able to feel when they need to pee ot poop. it's just a matter of being consistent for a while til they are independent.
