Weight loss is always governed by the same principles: healthy eating and exercise.
As a new mother, I wouldn't worry too hard right now about any special diets, because you need your energy to cope with your baby and you'll still be recovering from your C section for a while yet. Don't be tempted to go comparing yourself to a celebrity mum who has personal trainers and everything she needs magically to shrink right after giving birth.
When you're ready, just watch what you're eating and try to spend some time each day moving. Try to get as much sleep as you can when your baby is napping too, as sleep deprivation does make weight loss harder.
