I lived with my sons father for all of a couple months before finding out I was pregnant. He convinced me to keep the baby (I'm against abortions, but had FINALLY gotten my life back together and started a new job and a pregnancy meant all that was going to go kaput) and said he would take care of us. Not even 3 weeks later he left while I was in the hospital with pregnancy complications and went back to an ex girlfriend. He is now married to her, is taking care of her 2 older children, their child whom is only 3-4 months younger than our child, and he has another one on the way. My son is now 19 months old and I've been trying since the day we were released from the hospital to serve this guy for child support. There were issues with him possibly not being the father, and he said he wanted the other guy to do a paternity test with him to be certain. I agreed and got in contact with the other guy, who immediately agreed to go along with it. The other guy got the paternity test done while my sons father didn't show up. It has been HELL trying to find this guy now that he knows the other isn't our sons father. I've had so much information coming to me from people which have been cut off due to them having figured out where I was getting my info from, etc. The only lead I have is a very confusing conversation I had with an old co-worker of ours who had said something about his address still being where it was after he had left me and that they didn't move like I had heard. I also got information on his potential job, but they've never gotten back to me on a location of said job, that and a text from them that same day makes me wonder if they are just trying to figure out where I've been getting the rest of my info from since they can't figure it all out.
The Child Support agency here has all but given up on trying to find him at this point. I refuse to give up. This isn't the first child he's abandoned like this. He has a daughter that's about a year and a half older than my son and he bailed on her too. I don't have money to hire anybody nor pay for those sites that offer up information, and in my experience, the information isn't always correct or up-to-date. Is there ANY other ways to find him that you know of? I know his full name, birth date, one previous job, the college he went to before I met him, his brother/sister/mothers name, and that's it.
