So my daughter is 18 months old the 28th of this month. She still gets a bottle before her nap in the day and at night time. She only sleeps through the night sometimes, maybe once or twice a week. Usually she wakes at least once or twice and wants the bottle. We have tried watering down the milk but it doesnt seem to work. I am thinking she might be too old for her bottle and I fear she is becoming attached to it because she wants to carry it around and cries for it. I don't let her do that. However, I am so tired all the time. Recently she has started the habit of getting the bottle before bed and falling asleep only waking as soon as we lay her down. I have tried the cry it out method without success. Any tips? I am still breastfeeding but not at night. My husband says it is my breastfeeding that makes her dependent on the bottle but I disagree. She doesnt always eat well during the day and is a picky eater so I worry about not giving her the bottle when she wakes at night, because I wonder if she is really hungry?
