Involve your three year old as much as you can and get him in on the action right from day one. Let him bring you baby wipes and nappies and praise him with "What a big boy your are". Concerntrate on telling him all the things that he can do as a big boy and see how things go. When my second son was born I bought my eldest son a garage and cars to play with so that he did not feel left out when people came with presents for the baby. Try and grab an hour or so with your son only and do something with him like a walk in the park or a game of football in the garden. I know twins are very time consuming but enlist some help with grandparents and take people up on offers of help. Good luck with the birth and happy parenting!

I agree with Louise. Also, you could have your 3 year old act out what your doing with your twins, if your comfortable with that. When you change the twins, give the older one a baby doll to "Change", allow him/her to help you as much as possible and praise and reward him/her whenever you can. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
