How would you feel about your 14 year old daughter sleeping in the same bed with another adult?

If your daughter sleeps over a friend's house, who has a spare bed, shouldn't your daughter sleep in their own bed vs. with the adult? No matter if the adult is a good friend, relative, etc.

Why would the kid agree to it?

and why would the adult want it? I think I'd be keeping my kid away from that house, period.

Why would a 14 year old sleep with an adult unless there were extenuating circumstances (camping in a tent, no other bed available, severely sick or disabled child in need of constant monitoring, etc...)

As a teenager at sleepovers my friends and I would sometimes sleep in the same bed.... even 3 in a bed at times.. lol... but sleeping in bed with another adult would never cross my mind.

Hello Little Miss Can't be wrong, I agree and have no intentions of letting this take place. Guess I just needed to hear another mom's opinion. It's just not healthy and definitly not normal. I agree with you, it is highly inappropriate! This person is a good friend but seems to want to treat my teenager like a toddler. Although it may hurt her feelings, I need to let her know my rules on where my daughter will sleep if and when she spends the night at her house. Thank you for replying.

I would find that highly inappropriate and would not allow it. There is no reason for that what so ever.
