My boyfriends mother is a hoarder so the only way she can see my son is of she comes to my house, ever since my son was born she has always tried pushing her parenting skills on me which in my opinion she not a very good mother to her children. I don't know if she is trying to rekindle how she messed up raising her kid through mine.
I m constantly arguing with her and it get to a point where I tell her not to come around what should I do???

I do want her help but at the same time I don't need her going against how I want my child raised. I don't want him spoiled I work over night and my mom is disabled so she is limited to things she can do with my son like picking him up.y mother in law insists baby's my son age dont know what spoiled is.
its alot of things she goes against me like when I ask her to babysit she told me no one time then her son asked her and told him yes she would. I don't like that of your gonna say no to me then tell your son yes. So he can go get drunk with his friends then your gonna have a problem with me.

I guess I don't get it. Either you want her help and input, or you don't.

She needs to heed your instructions with your child, but you may also need to be a little flexible, if what she's doing isn't hurting anything, but is just "different" from how you'd do it.

If you need her to help you, you need to vocalize that, and not expect her to know.

I don't understand. When my son was born it was like she was trying to be my sons mother. She goes against me when it comes to certain things I don't want my son to be doing. She has always argued with me about little things but never helps and comes around every other month

In your other post you said she didn't take any interest, but that she tried to be is mom. Which is it?
