HI, meeting new moms online worldwide is new to me - I've recently started blogging for business - language tutor and sharing personal development knowledge gained form experience. I'll be 50 in September so this is my lifestyle change challenge to get to grips with making some really fun friends online - to grow together and share not just situation advice stuff. Tell me how you guys arrange your contacts?
Thanx
Stephanie Edwards

Thanx Bron - Nice to make contact, good advice - this is my first forum ever and you are my first response, so I celebrate little successes like this just for fun. One more thing, please be invited to my circle - I'm not sure how to do that - will look around the site a bit more. I read an article where the author says there are lots of watcher-grabbers who just look at info and never comment - so I was being brave to put my toe in the comment water - and delighted to get a response - like with facebook I'm never too sure where things will show up! have a great week and thanx again for making my day.

Hi Stephanie,
I too am an older mom - (and have only just discovered the Circle of Moms!)
I help my youngest daughter run two of her businesses, one of which is a Social Media Marketing agency.

I am addicted to Social media and think it is a great platform for real 'human relationships' in the digital age. I believe that we are returning to the 'village / country town' where everyone knows someone who is helpful and cares for the well being of the people they interact with. Rather like the baker knowing the shopkeeper, who knows the butcher, who knows the best place to get your car fixed in a small town.

My advice is for you to join as many groups on line as interest you. Interact as much as you feel is right. Fun and friendships will develop naturally. Don't be afraid to interact with people and if you find that the group you have joined isn't quite what you are after - you can leave it (politely of course!) - enjoy and good luck with your blogging
