Hello moms. I have a specific situation in which my husband and I had a baby girl that was very much early in her timing. Born at 26 weeks and weighing less than a pound. Its been a rough road so far in the ISCU and we're coping the best we can. She's making strides though and so far almost a week off the breathing tube (yay!). I've been the one who has been more involved, changing her diaper and kangarooing/holding her. My husband is with me everyday and is okay holding her hand or petting our daughter when I hold her, but he refuses to hold her and says he's scared. Is this normal and how can I get him to get comfortable with holding his daughter? She's up to 2 pounds 3 oz and growing and I want her to be familiar with her daddy who she looks so much alike. Thoughts?
