My son is 18 months old. He is very hyperactive and won't sit down for more than 2 minutes, I've taken him to the park, play areas, trying to tire him out but nothing works, I've even changed his diet. He is also very violent- hits you, head butts you, slaps you, when you're telling him off he will scream at you. I am just worn out. Can someone give me advice please before I go to my GP.

My youngest daughter was running at 8 months old, Lol... Unlike her older sister who was much "Easier" to control.. I sware this little girl never stopped!! She broke every knick knack in the house she would get up on the counters and in the cupboards- Lol nothing too drastic except for being 18 months old and escaping the house a coupke times when we werent looking ( Lucky we lived close to family and she never got too far..)
Anyway, the only advice I can give you is to be Patient and just go with it... . My little girl is 24 years oild now- A striking beauty who excelled throughout high school, She is in her 5th year of College with numerous scholerships, shes working on site in the Oncology ward of the Hospital through a nursing program to earn her degree. Also, she married her high school sweetheart after hs graduation, she just had her 2nd baby girl last september..They just bought a house year before.. and she also attended the International House of Prayer in Missouri with her husband ( beforee marriage) To get the premarital counseling they would need... Oh my gosh,,,I could go on and on.. She paints Portraits that amaze people, and this girl could be a Victoria secret Model.. Ianyway I dont know how she does it , but shes been "On the GO since she was born! Lol...I hope you dont get worried as some parents choose to "Medicate" their kids... I dont know nuch about that but it doesnt seem Right to me.

I hope my experiences with my daughter help shed some light for you...* Oh, and my oldest daughter who always took time to herself and would READ every night,,Highly intelligent girl, did super all through school and college...and now shes 32... and Im not sure but I think shes a "Gypsy" ? She doesnt like to work and I hear her saying that Mother earth will provide for her or something ( its usually Mother ME thats helping.. )
Ehhh,,,Go figure, You never know what life has in store for us : ) Happy Mothers Day and many Blessings to you

**Dont respond to his violent behavior, if you do it will only get worse. Just ignore him.. sounds too easy but give it a try..Get the family to go along with it might only take a week or two, .. and Dont discuss it with anyone when hes within earshot... babies are smart! Lol

Good luck
