I am 26 weeks pregnant but measuring 29 weeks, and feel more like 29 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else felt like this.

my son was 4 weeks early by what the Dr. said he measured.

i told him i thought he was wrong because i knew when i conceived.. I was sent home when labor started because it was "too soon"

i had my son that same night he weight 7 pounds and 8 onces.

numbers and dates are just to make us feel better, to help us to believe we are in control.

this is a lie.

only god knows when your baby will be born and how big they will be.

My friend and I both had boys at 40wks, we were measuring like 8cm different, she was over and I was way under. Our babies were only a couple ounces apart in weight at birth. I have given up with the measuring thing. All mine were way off from the beginning. Most people were predicting a 4lb baby until my boy arrived at a healthy 8lbs 5oz....

I measured ahead in both my pregnancies. My little ones still didn't arrive until 42 weeks. We all grow differently, I assume.

baby position has a lot to do with how youre measuring as well, and the due dates can be a couple weeks off as well, i measured 3 weeks ahead with my first, who came at 38+5 and was average size, they kept telling me he would be huge lol

I agree with Amanda. Also, measuring ahead is common and is sometimes just inaccurate- it could just be how your body/baby measure.

Your due date can very well be off by 2 weeks, and then a larger baby would explain the 3 week difference. What has your doctor said?
