I am 36 weeks, but last menustral was January 2 instead of February 2 that was when I missed period. I told dr. Wrong by mistake. I told him I am concerned that that would make me due oct 8 instead of nov but he said ultrasound looks good. Baby weighs 5 pounds as of Tuesday. He did say baby is head down, has dropped and I am contracting. I feel like I am breaking down below, clear whitish discharge and bathroom every 5 minutes? Any advice?

Due dates are only an estimate anyway. When it comes to natural labour, they go out the window. Only 10% of babies are actually born on their due dates. Head can be down and engaged well before delivery, as much as 4 or 5 weeks. Contractions can go on for days. Unless they are getting longer and closer together, it is just your body making preparations and nothing to be concerned about. The pressure is normal once a baby's head is engaged. I had that for 3 weeks with my youngest, I could barely walk. I'm just saying not to worry about your due date, ignore that, and just focus on what is happening with your body. Baby will come when he is ready. He won't pay attention to the due date. Due dates are sketchy anyway.

So what if due date is wrong? When the head is down doesnt that mean he is getting ready. The dr. Did exam and said I am contracting and he dropped.the pain down there is so much pressure I feel like I am having to pea and pea.

All I can suggest is that if you are contracting, make sure you time them, and determine if they are getting stronger. If it is only intermittent, it isn't labour, it could just be Braxton Hicks. You will know about it when it is labour. If you are unsure or concerned, call your doctor or midwife, and have them take a look.
