all moms are crazy. have a baby!

now i gotta say what you dont want to hear... its your age. so sorry but it can be a factor in pregnancy and birth. not a deal breaker but defiantly something to ask a doctor about.

Only you can decide that.

I think the key right now is to figure out what, deep down, you REALLY want.

So here's a little mental exercise.

Flip a coin.

Heads, you have another baby. Tails, you don't.

When you have the result of the coin flip, stop and evaluate how you actually FEEL about the result. Are you disappointed? Relieved? Elated? Want to flip again?

How you feel will tell you your REAL answer.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you Heather, only I am 40 years old. I didn't have my (only) son until I was 36. I'm seriously thinking of trying for another. I'm in good health. I think I may take Krista's advice and flip a coin.....but I already know what my reaction(s) will be. :)

Just realize that most likely your 16yr old will have no relationship with this child. They may be siblings but are from two different generations.

If the doctor says you are healthy and you really want another, than why not. You just have to get your husband on the same page.

Thanks for all the advice. I am healthy and have seen a doctor, so I'm not real worried about that part of it. I think it's mainly financial especially for my husband. I am in good health and so is he. He is the hesitant one really.

Or you crazy no. But seriously what kind of condition or you in? Any health problems? Or you active enough to keep up with a toddler? If you are in great Health, good shape and can keep up with a toddler. Go for it! Regardless the best of luck to you no matter what the out come is.
