My first was born head down, but face up, so his shoulder got stuck. With a little assistance from my midwife he came out without any cutting or tearing. My third was transverse (meaning side to side) two weeks before delivery. You can deliver a breech baby, but NOT a transverse. I was able to manipulate her myself to go head down, but she was still face up like #1. I could feel her turn around after my water broke & no one got stuck! Spinningbabies.com is a great site with tricks on how to turn & manipulate baby's position. Check it out & try some. They have TOATALLY worked for me. When my #1 was breech, I was able to easily turn him by sitting on all fours, putting my chin to the floor, pushing my butt up in the air & stretching my back like a cat. I honestly wouldn't worry about breech until you are maybe a week or so from your due date. Good luck momma!!

Thank you for your post Mazy and Denikka. I was really worried when the doctor said my baby is facing upwards and mentioned an issue that he may come out with feet first and worst of all, he told me that it will be too painful and difficult. So Im so thankful and praying that he may turn

Totally agree with Mazy. You still have plenty of time for the baby to get into position :)

Not sure what position your son is in or what your EDD is...but you have about two months to go. A LOT can happen in two months!! Don't worry, and don't let your doctors talk you into scheduling a C-section too early. Lately a lot of women have been scared into agreeing to c sections before 40 weeks due to positions. Babies turn! My third baby turned WHILE in labour...it's okay. Don't fret & trust your body.
