as some of you know i went a little bit cuckoo last week-- information overload! so i took a breath and asked myself what do i need to know about now? well i had a question for the catholic mothers group. i posted it, asked a second time for help and got no response. i get that maybe that is not a busy group, but even messaging the leader got me no help.
what makes me sad is if i had posted question about spanking my babies (when to start or something) i bet i would get a dozen replies. kinda sad, isn't it? maybe this is a needed lesson in patience, but a little advice would have helped.

You can always post in the general "catch all" community of Welcome to Circle of Moms. You can ask for specific advice relating to catholic views (although you may get other viewpoints as well). Just keep in mind most people are trying to help. You might be better served in this regard by joining a local church group.

The powers that be at Popsugar pretty much don't pay attention to the forums at all. Even when the Mods try to contact them. And with how many ever millions of members on the site, many do not return regularly - even those that started communities. So, it is what it is.

Thanks, I have talked to the priest after the teen girls small group inquisition! I have the guidelines on how far i can go with the teen small group i lead --it is all in the catholic mom group-- where i have to draw the line, what I can discuss and not discuss within the scope of the faith and bible study group.

it depends on the group. Some are completely dead and you won't get any response no matter what you post or who you ask. This page is the most active. Some of the others do get some activity... some get rare activity... and some get none. It's not necessarily the context of your post that gets responses (though sometimes it is), but if you post in a 'dead' community... it won't matter what the topic is... you won't get a response.
