I have a friend who had the same kind of quadruplets and she name them these;
1 pair was:
Kayla and Max
2 pair was:
Toby and Sophia.
Here are some other names;
Quinten and Lily, Bella and James, Brooke and Adam, Anna-Marie and Jack, Lizzy and Jake, And Natalie and Andrew. These are all the other cute names I could think of. Congratulations on you babies!!

I only finished high school biology and even I know this. A doctor should know better, but as Angela said, maybe the doctor mixed up words, or maybe you misunderstood.

The doctor - in fact most doctors - are very busy people. But he/she knows that identical twins are always the same sex. However he/she could have got his/her words mixed up when telling you of what you were expecting. Since quad pregnancies are quite rare though, I would've thought your doctor/midwife would have referred you to a specialist in multiple births rather than give you erroneous information about the children you're carrying.

Hate to tell you this, but there is no such thing as identical girls and boys. You are trying to tell us that you have two sets of identical twins, each of which are a boy and a girl. That is genetically impossible. You are either having identical boys and identical girls OR your quads are all separate eggs.

A quad pregnancy can certainly be 2 pairs of identical twins but identical twins are always the same sex. So ..... there's absolutely no way you have 2 pairs of identical twins which are both boy/girl pairs!

If you're genuinely expecting quads and have been told there are 2 girls and 2 boys in there, it's more likely you have a pair of identical girls and a pair of identical boys.

How far on are you?
