I am having trouble deciding what to do for college

I am a single mom and I have been looking at several options for going to college - Social Worker, Dental Assistant or Hygienist, and Child and Youth Worker.

I keep hearing some bad things about these jobs. Such as a Social Worker is difficult to quickly get into and i'll be in debt, overworked and underpayed. The Dental Assistant usually ends up working for a jerk dentist...

I just want something I can go to school for a few years and have a career I am happy with and can provide for my daughter and myself, and I just can't seem to find something that feels 'right'.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Maybe start by taking up generals first. Then go from there with what interests u. There r going to be pros and cons with any job/career. No job is going to be perfect. U have to look at what job u want to do no matter the cons. Also most people don't stick with the same career for the rest of their lives. There r many people that change jobs within their career and there r many that go back to school for a whole different career.
