I am looking for help with finding child care in my area. What the best places are and if sharing a nanny is an option.

I don't know where you are from, but here in Ohio, there are certified child care providers. They run a small daycare out of their home. They have to pass background checks(fingerprints), house inspections (some unannounced), have 1st aid and CPR certification, take quite a few classes, and follow up with so many continuing ed. classes every year. They are limited to 6 children at a time with no more than 3 under the age of 2. That includes their own children until they reach the age of 6. There are a whole list of rules and regulations that they must follow, and you can get a list of these providers at the local job and family services. If you are looking for a nanny, you might want to run an add in the local paper, but you will have to do all the background checks yourself.
