Hi All,
I have a 19 years old female. She has been out of school for a year but she hasn't figured out what to do. I want to help but that can be difficult.

It would probably help to find her a job, and then ask for a small amount of money for rent. Do not rush her, but make sure you persuade her to find one soon!

I agree, she should be getting herself a job, paying rent, and helping with the bills of the household while she figures out what to do. It doesn't matter if it isn't her dream job or what she wants to do for the rest of her life. A job is a job. She needs to clock up some experience.

It's not up to you to help her either, she needs to find her feet. She will probably go through a number of jobs before she finds what she really wants.

She has been helping at her old school helping the art teacher. That will end soon. Thanks for asking.
