I like what everyone is saying. Are you an expert, do you have a degree in child psychology? What makes you think he has Asbergers? As the babysitter, you do not have the right to diagnose or question the parents about it, however: no matter what you think, the best course is to treat the child as you would any other child. The more "normally" you treat this child, the more "normal" he will be. And yes, as a Special Education teacher, I do have a degree in psychology. It was required by the university I attended.

OK.... treat him as you would normally treat any other child. I have asbergers... and that's all I can suggest. otherwise you have no jurisdiction here. not your kid.

Why would you think that? I'm assuming he is showing some "different" behaviors. But you can't just go and diagnose someone elses kid. I would NOT say anything to his parents yet.

What makes you think that? This is a touchy thing to discuss with his parents. I would maybe suggest it in a way that never uses that phrase (NOT that it's horrible but parents may not be receptive). Explain to the parent(s) you are simply concerned about his behavior and that they might want to get him evaluated.
