My 15 month old daughter will not eat meat of any kind. I try to trick her and she knows, i gave her chicken fries and she just ate the batter off them.. What else can I do??

Sometimes kids are just picky at that age.
I would try to make sure that she is getting protein in other ways. Cheese, yogurt, beans, rice, potatoes, and whole grains are good sources of protein. Also nuts and eggs if you know there aren't allergies.

Keep introducing the meat as an option. But if she's not eating it, make sure protein is coming in consistently from other sources. We don't eat a lot of meat at our house; we do eat it, just not in large quantities or at every meal. So, these other sources are where we get the majority of our needs met.

My almost 2 year old still hates most meat. He enjoys very tender meats sometimes. Like ground beef that has been simmered in spaghetti sauce all day. Shepherd's pie. Cheese burgers. Slow cooker meats that are fork tender, with gravy. He likes brown beans as well. You can try making black bean soup, that is always a hit around here. My son loves hard boiled eggs too.

It could be about texture...children can be very picky when trying new foods. Even color can turn a child off. As long as she is getting enough protein and iron from other foods, I would wait awhile and casually introduce meat on her plate in the future.

It's a fairly normal stage. My 3 year old son is just starting to really eat meat... sometimes. Eating meat is not necessary. Just make sure she is getting protein from other sources and continue offering her a small portion of whatever meat you are eating at each meal.

Just keep offering a little bit of it. My kid is 15 months and I just serve him up his food and he eats what he wants. We leave him at the table until he's finished at least half.

Why do you need her to eat meat? She can be healthy without it, and you can try again in a month. Maybe then she will love it. Don't ever make food a battle of wills. Remember, orgainc, horomone free, dye free, sugar free ... her little body can't handle the toxins found in most meat. Maybe that is why she is rejecting it?
