I can't get my 4 month old to sleep without a tight swaddle. Any ideas on how to break her of this?

I just started using a bigger blanket, I still swaddled Logan at about 6 months sometimes especially in winter.

Most babies like to be confined even at that age. She should break out of it naturally.

The trouble seems to be that as soon as her arms are loose she wakes up. We want to break her of it because she is getting too big for the swaddle wraps that I can find.

Start to put her to bed with it looser and looser she may just want the swadle cloth it's self.My daughter will not go to bed without her blanket that she has had from birth. She is two now and as long as we have that blanket she will sleep any where. Try and introduce something like this to your child, if using a blanket rub it around your skin to get your scent on it and allow her to snuggle it. This will bring her some comfort and maybe even replace the swaddle cloth.
