I don't really want a 2nd child

I have a son who is nine months and I can't imagine ever having another kid. I hold others opens kids who are younger and I don't feel like I would want to go back to never sleeping or knowing what's wrong. I just want one, but my husband really wants at least one more. He says that our son won't have as much fun without someone to play with especially on family vacations and stuff. He says that kids just need siblings. We both grew up with siblings and I'm afraid that if I don't have another kid that my son will be lonely. But I just don't feel like I could handle another. Help? Advice?

It's really something that only you can decide on. No one can tell you to have another child if you don't want one.
Be prepared for your husband to keep hounding you for another one though. You need to sit down and discuss it with him though. Tell him exactly how you feel.
The other thing is your son is only 9 months, you may still change your mind when he grows more independent. I was only ever having 2 children. I remarried and had a 3rd so things change and it's best to be open to changing your mind.
