Can someone please share a typical schedule for your 6-7 month old?? I'm not worried about her formula intake but I am concerned that she's not getting enough solid food for her age. Also, I'm not sure if I should try more baby food or start trying some appropriate table foods?
I'll post a typical schedule for her below & if anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Wakes up about 7am....
Breakfast at 8--2 tablespoons of oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of applesauce, after a 6oz bottle....
At 12:30--a 6oz bottle....
At 4:30--a 6oz bottle....
Dinner at 6-- 3oz of fruit or veggie (alternated nightly)....
Bedtime bottle at 7:30--a 8oz bottle

I agree with Little Miss. Follow your baby's cues. Formula is to be the main source of nutrition right now.

Look up the book "super baby foods" by ruth yarin. It out lines what age is appropriate for what foods to offer. Make sure you are only offering 1 new food every 3-7 days and watch for allergic reactions.

Stop comparing your baby to others. You are doing just fine.

Sounds about right to me. Right now, food is just for practice. Formula or BM should be the main source of nutrition still.

Mother’s milk is the best food for your baby. It contains all the elements that your baby needs to grow (vitamins, essential fatty acids, calcium, iron, protein). You can feed grain flour enriched with iron to your child as the first solid food for your child. You can also feed your child with infant cereals like cerelac (http://goo.gl/F4ltTE) which are available in different flavours, from the fourth month of your child’s birth after consulting with a paediatrician. A good way to help your child to accept new flavours and textures is to feed your baby with gluten free flour cereals. You must simply dissolve several teaspoons of flour cereals (one to two tablespoons in the beginning) into a deep bowl and add water. This will help your child get enriched with iron. Fruits and vegetables are essential nutrients for the balanced diet for your child. Provide cooked fruits and vegetables for your child. Make a puree of fruits like apples, bananas, apricot, peaches etc without adding sugar, and vegetables like zucchini, carrots, green beans without adding salt and feed your child.

To Robert, if she's 5 months old & strapped into the highchair, she should have no problem sitting up....sounds like to me that your daycare provider is just being lazy!! If she refuses to feed your daughter what you want her to, then I would strongly suggest finding another daycare....just my opinion.

Just want ask someone- my 5 month old is eating fruits, veggies and rice cereal everyday at home. Our daycare provider will not feed our daughter solid foods until she can sit up in a high chair. Is this an actual guideline or is her claim inappropriate?

I just keep seeing where babies her age are supposed to be eating about 5 tablespoons each of a fruit, vegetable, protein & grain everyday & my little one is nowhere near that? I also want to try some table food but I'm not sure when & what to give her....she doesn't have any teeth yet by the way.
