It could be stress. I would try some stress relieving activities. Or even try and get away from the kids for an hour or two. You need to do stuff for YOU too, not just the kids. And I know how hard that is, I only have one child, but I hardly have any time for myself, I can't imagine what it would be like to have 3.

I hope this helps.

It sounds like more than just a simple diet change...this can help, but still hopefully you can get to a new doctor.

Dry toast, lots of water and gingerale and weak tea., bananas til you have a regular bowel movement . then you can slowly .....introduce ....chicken, srambled eggs , yogurt. Stay away from dairy until you have a regular movement.

I agree with the others if this has been going on for ages you should see a GIT specialist.

Well, going back to the doctor is a great idea, but maybe not the same one. It may be time for a specialist, or just another doctor that may have different thoughts on the matter. Please make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids...diarrhea causes dehydration. I hear coconut water supplies lots of electrolytes without the rest of the garbage that is in some of those drinks...which in turn can make diarrhea worse.

My body reacted like that for a long time until we realized that it only happened when I eat something that is made with peanuts or peanut oil. My entre gut also swells, and it gets quite painful, but it is (at least mine is) an allergic reaction to some sort of food (in my case, peanuts). Unfortunately, that meant I had to give up my favorite foods/snacks/desserts.

Go to the doctor. They can do blood tests that can help sort this out.

Definately go back to the doc. Diarrhea isn't just water and food, it's also nutirents that your body needs to function properly. One major nutrient that it depleats is Potassium. Low potassium causes weakness, muscle aches, and even more diarrhea. It is incredibly hard to build back up on your own after it gets so far down. The best way to get it built back up is through pills or IV's. A very simple blood test would give them the answers.

Go to the doctor. Calcium helps too. Iron too. But I would go back to the doctor. I hope it gets better for you and quick. I have had that problem before. It wasn't fun. Good luck
